Little Hawaii Trail

Little Hawaii Trail

This beginner trail is roughly 3km, and takes around one hour depending on your fitness level. It is famous for the picturesque waterfall (shown above) that you will pass along the way. You can start from the Tseng Lan Shue by Clear Water Bay Road, or walk along Po Hong Road from Po Lam to go in the opposite direction.

Wang Po Road Pet Garden

This 12,000 square-meter dog park has three gated sections – for large dogs, small dogs and a third area for any size. It also houses a car park, toilet facilities and a shower area for your furry friend. The park is also accessible by foot from TKO and Lohas Park MTR station, and is open from 7am to 9pm daily.

TKO Swimming Pool

When summer comes back around, it’ll be time to find a place to beat the heat. With eight pools for all kinds of swimmers and a bunch of water slides, it is more of a water park in disguise. Tseung Kwan O Promenade

Next to the Pet Garden is this beautiful seafront area, where you will find runners, dog walkers, fishermen and dragon boat teams training. The TKO promenade also has a bicycle path for cyclists to enjoy.

Veledrome Park TKO

Hong Kong Velodrome Park

Within walking distance from the Sports Ground is the Hong Kong Velodrome Park, which offers other facilities to the public, including a climbing wall (perfect venue for a corporate team bonding activity!) and a skatepark. Courts include badminton, tennis and basketball. A lot of elderly residents also come here on a daily basis to exercise at the fitness corner and enjoy the view of the large artificial lake.

Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground

An alternative exercise area to the promenade is the TKO Sports Ground. Only a five-minute walk away, the sports ground features a 400-metre running track surrounding an 11-a-side football pitch, as well as a 300-metre running track with another large football pitch.
