Kitchee beat Chiangrai to keep hopes of advancing

Kitchee kept their hopes of advancing in the Asian Champions League by beating Chiangrai United for a second time.

Twelve days after beating the Thai side 1-0 to start the group, Kitchee won the rematch at Buriram Stadium last night, 3-2.

Right-back Law Tsz-chun put the Hong Kong side ahead on the 81st minute, just two minutes after the hosts had tied it. Alex Akande and Dejan Damjanovic were also on target for Kitchee.

Kitchee now trail the group leaders Vissel Kobe by a point ahead of their rematch on Sunday. Kobe were 2-1 winners in their previous meeting.
