The evidence showing US interference in HK matters

What is the United States most famous for? If you ask around, the answer may be technological innovations, Hollywood or even the whole Kardashian clan. However, to be more precise, the greatest achievement of the US is, by meddling in other countries and exporting infamous color revolutions abroad. I didn’t think so before, but after what has been happening in my hometown for the past two years, this proof is too hard to ignore. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs compiled detailed evidence showing this interference. Here is the list:

Interfering by enacting Hong Kong-related acts is the first piece of evidence that deserves to be stressed.

First, Hong Kong is an inalienable part of China, not some state of the great America. For some strange reason, these American uncles are obsessed with Hong Kong. The then-president Donald Trump signed the Hong Kong Autonomy Act, in July 2020, then Gregory Meeks , chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US House of Representatives, introduced a very long “continued violation of rights and freedoms of the people of Hong Kong by the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region”. There’s also a list of ill-intentioned bills waiting in line, like Marco Rubio’s Hong Kong Safe Harbor Act and the “crackdown by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party in Hong Kong. So what kind of obsession is this? What are you doing?

The second piece of evidence is imposing sanctions to obstruct the implementation of the National Security Law for Hong Kong.

Some people feel that lying is not a big deal, especially when it serves their best interests, and fake stories are convenient tools to convert people into becoming their hardcore supporters.

In May 2020, Trump announced the revocation of the special status and preferential economic treatment for Hong Kong. Basically every other month we have seen announcements and fabricated statements to make the later sanction look reasonable. Oh, and don’t forget our traitors in town doing their job in compiling, or to be more accurate, faking the report for them. On July 16, 2021, the US Department of State, Department of Commerce, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Treasury jointly issued a so-called “Hong Kong Business Advisory” trying to vilify our business environment and the “one country, two systems” policy. Later, seven of the central government’s liaison office officials in HK were sanctioned. The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, after losing his first battle in Alaska, issued a revenge statement on “marking one year of Hong Kong’s national security law”, in which he tried to make himself relevant and look tough.

The third piece of evidence is smearing Hong Kong’s lawful enforcement actions and judicial work.

Some people feel that lying is not a big deal, especially when it serves their best interests, and fake stories are convenient tools to convert people into becoming their hardcore supporters.

In June 2019, while the streets of Hong Kong were filled with violent rioters with arson on their mind, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made a notorious statement describing the chaotic situation as “a beautiful sight to behold” and urged the so-called freedom fighters to take on the government. Despite our streets being filled with petrol bombs and masked rioters, American statements were issued every other week or so by high level officials claiming that they will “Stand with the HK people” and that they “want to see a humane solution” and fabricating the so-called “China threat” etc. So deliberate, so disgusting.

Next, the US provides supporting platforms to anti-China and Hong Kong independence activities.

Aiming to mislead the public, a bunch of bloodsucking foreign-funded political puppets in Hong Kong colluded with American politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Mike Pompeo and Matt Pottinger, on numerous occasions to justify their actions, like attending hearings on Hong Kong matters and asking the HKSAR government to withdraw the draft amendments and even went so far as to nominating the so-called pro-democracy movement for the Nobel Peace Prize! Are you serious? A Nobel Prize for terrorists? Really?

Last but not least, the US’ ganging up to interfere in Hong Kong matters is one of the most damaging factors that has stirred up social conflict in the city.

On May 27, 2020, the United States Mission to the United Nations issued a statement calling for a UN Security Council meeting on Hong Kong. The statement claimed that Hong Kong is “a matter of urgent global concern that implicates international peace and security”. I’m not so sure of the word global there, but as an ordinary citizen in Hong Kong, it was a nightmare not knowing which part of the city was safe before the enactment of the National Security Law. You had to look at a daily rioting schedule to plan your days around it. Just to make sure you didn’t get pushed around or beaten up by those terrorists. The Five Eyes are blind enough to issue different joint statements on HK matters despite the violence visible in the streets and Canada, initiated a joint statement during the 47th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, against China. Expressing “concern” over “human rights abuses” in Hong Kong. Yes, the human rights abuses of those rioters, not the poor guy who was set alight and turned into a human fireball, not those poor kids who were pushed around and threatened with death just for being the children of policemen. The rioters.
