HK claim three bronzes at Asian Karate Championships

Hong Kong’s karate team wrapped up their Asian Championships campaign in Kazakhstan by picking up a third bronze medal.

The women’s kata team of Ma Ka-man, Wong Sze-man, and Wu Lok-man reached the podium after finishing ahead of Cambodia in total points. Japan and Indonesia took gold and silver respectively.

Earlier, Hong Kong’s Olympic medalist Grace Lau picked up a bronze in the individual kata.

There was also a bronze medal for Tsang Yee-ting in the women’s kumite competition.
