Hong Kong’s men qualify for Rugby World Cup Sevens

Hong Kong’s men’s sevens team have won the Asia Sevens Series and qualified for the Rugby World Cup Sevens.

The SAR squad won the Asia Series by beating South Korea 33-7 in the final in Dubai.

Hong Kong also secured their place in next year’s World Cup with a semifinal win over China.

The men’s team qualified for their eighth straight World Cup. They’ve appeared in every edition since the first in Edinburgh in 1993.

The women’s team finished third in Dubai. They lost to Japan in the semis before beating Kazakhstan to reach the podium
