Sarah Lee grabs HK’s first gold at National Games

Star Hong Kong cyclist Sarah Lee has won the SAR’s first gold medal at the National Games in Shaanxi province.

Lee beat Zhong Tianshi of Shanghai in the women’s sprint final on Monday, winning 2-0 in the best-of-three affair.

Lee took bronze in the same event in the last National Games in 2017.

Hong Kong’s medals tally now stands at one gold and one bronze.

Earlier, cyclist Leung Ka-yu finished third in the men’s omnium.
